From Sketch to Studio
TheyMade is a dream that’s been years in the making, coming to life at just the right time. It all started as a business plan created for a final project at FIDM. Over the past 15 years, that early vision has evolved—shaped by real-world experience, industry insight, and a whole lot of passion. What began in the classroom has grown into a fully realized brand, built on creativity, persistence, and a drive to do things differently.

ith 20 years of retail experience, a degree in Textile Manufacturing from FIDM, and as an ASU alum, I’ve done it all—from visual merchandising and program management to sourcing and branding. I’ve had the opportunity to work with incredible brands like Aeropostale, Marshall Retail Group, William Rast, Party City, and Albertsons Inc., gaining deep expertise in creating memorable customer experiences.
As a mom of two, I know that parenting can be just as demanding—and rewarding—as running a business. My kids love to create, but we were all bored with the same old activities. That’s when the idea for TheyMade came to life: a fresh, exciting, hands-on space where families can design, create, and express themselves together. We opened our first store in City Center, San Ramon in March 2023, and expanded to Corte Madera in May 2025. With many more to come.
